Last night we attended Big Sis' Spring Concert at school. She's been learning the violin, as most 4th graders in our County do, and last night was where they show all their hard work to the loving and nearly deaf parents.
Okay, not nearly deaf - but after hearing some of the same songs over and over as we forced the children to practice all year, some may wish they were deaf. Or had sound-proofed the child's room.
Anyway, Big Sis did a great job and we had the surprise of her being the ONLY 4th grader with a solo!! She played "Mary Had a Little Lamb", which she had figured out how to play on her own. We were very proud of her!
